weight gain tips
- you need to build up as many calories as possible by consuming food that are rich in nutrients and calories. Avoid junk food as it can only result in unnecessary fat gain. While shopping, you could always pick out the food items that are rich in calories. Include potatoes (for carbohydrate content), green leafy vegetables such as cabbage and broccoli, vitamin rich vegetables such as carrots, beetroots and tomatoes. It is important to have a rich breakfast to last you for the entire day. White pasta with milk and eggs can be the best breakfast menu. As for the lunch and dinner menu, include protein rich food such as fish and chicken as maximum amount of calories are found to be in such foods.
- Exercise - The second step is to work out and make sure the calories that you build up are streamlined into an orderly fashion. Eating a lot of food without proper exercise can only make you over weight and flabby. It is recommended to hit the gym at least three times a week or you can even practice exercises at home. Doing stretches, light jogging on the treadmill, push-ups, pull-ups and bench press are good for building muscle and burning the extra fat in your body.
- Sleep and drink water - The third step is to have lots of sleep and drink lots of water. Getting dehydrated and exhausted is the last thing you want to end up with after all the exercising. Make sure that you have at least half a gallon of water every day. Sleep is also a very important factor for gaining weight. You could have up to 8 hours of proper sleep at night, which would prove effective and revitalizing for your brain.
- Weigh yourself at the end of a week. You’ll notice you’re gaining more weight after only one week! However, don’t expect miracles. You won’t have put on 10lb!. Remember that when it comes to weight gain, gaining anymore then 1 or 2 pounds a week is unhealthy and means you’re putting on fat instead of muscle. Patience is a virtue! What you want is to see 1 or 2 pound gains at the end of the week. It may not seem like a lot but add it up. You easily gain weight at the rate of 5-8 pounds a month!
- Eat banana three time a day followed by milk of curd. You can also make the banana shake in milk to gain weight.
- Drink a lot of fluids that supply nutrients and calories; milk, fresh fruit juices and energy drinks are good examples.
- In summers you can drink mango shake in milk daily to gain weight. Also instead of this consume mango and drink milk after this. Mangoes contain too much sugar but without any protein. But milk on the other hand lots of protein and without sugar. So the combination of both will compliment each other.

Recipee of the day
Milk Cake
Ingredients:
- 6 cups of whole milk
- Approximately 3 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon crushed cardamom
- 2 tablespoons ghee or unsalted butter
- Approximately 1 table sliced pistachios for garnish
Method
- Grease a 6-inch plate and set aside.
- In a large, wide and heavy saucepan bring the milk to a boil over medium high heat. And let it boil for 2-3 minutes.
- Add lemon juice to the milk, it will begin to curdle. Use minimum amount of lemon juice to just start the curdling process and prevent the whey (milky water) from completely separating immediately.
- Boil for 5 minutes and remove approx. 1 ½ cups of the whey. This will help reduce the tartness from the cake.
- Continue to cook and stir occasionally until the milk is a grainy consistency and the whey is evaporated. This will take an additional 15-20 minutes.
- Add sugar and cardamom and keep stirring until the mixture starts coming together. This should take approximately 5 minutes.
- Lower the heat to medium and cook for another 4-5 minutes until mixture changes to a slightly golden brown color.
- Transfer mixture to the greased plate and press firmly into a square shape, approximately 1 inch high. As an option, sprinkle sliced pistachios on top.
- Let sit for at least an hour before slicing into individual pieces.
Stuffed Omelette Recipe
Prep & Cooking: 15 mts

2 eggs
salt to taste
black pepper powder to taste
1 tbsp milk
1 tbsp olive oil
1 1/2 tbsps grated cheese
For stuffing:
2 shallots, finely sliced
1 1/2 tbsps grated carrot
1 tbsp capsicum, finely chopped or sliced
2 french beans, finely chopped
1/4 cup chopped spinach
1 1/2 tbsps finely chopped cabbage
pinch of red chili pwd
salt to taste
2-3 tsps olive oil
How to make an Omelet
1 Heat 3 tsps oil in a pan, add shallots and saute for 2-3 mts. Add rest of the vegetables and spinach and saute for 7-8 mts. Season with salt and chili powder. Turn off heat and keep aside.
2 Break 2 eggs in a bowl, add milk, salt, pepper powder and whisk till frothy.
3 Take a pan, drizzle a tbsp of oil, and heat it for half a mt on medium flame.
4 Pour the whisked egg mixture into the pan and swirl it around to spread evenly. Reduce flame to low and allow to cook for a mt and flip over. Cook for a few seconds.
5 Flip the omelet again and place the sauteed vegetables on half of the omelet. Sprinkle grated cheese and cover the vegetables with the other half of the omelette and cook for a few secs.
6 Remove the omelette onto a serving plate and serve with tomato ketchup.

Language is important in Movies... it differs according to space because the space itself has no language. Subtitles have become a ticklish problem we are facing around the world. If we put subtitles and if you read the text, it takes away from the drama because the audience concentrates on the text. Sub-titles should be done carefully scene-wise
